I haven't seen any suggestions in the industry press suggesting that Jaguar will produce an SUV for many years.
Jaguar and LandRover are part of the same group (Ford's Premier Automotive Group, or PAG), as is Volvo.
With the LandRover and Volvo SUVs, the group has the luxury SUV market covered. The investment in a Jaguar SUV probably wouldn't increase overall group sales by much - it would steal sales from the LandRover and Volvo products - so would not be profitable.

There was a lot of talk and press speculayion about this possibility over the last couple of years and whether it could be a rebody/rebadge of an existing Linclon model in much the same way as Lexus do with Toyota. But I understand with the cash flow/profit 'opportunities' Ford currently have this has now been discounted.
