My Dad owned one. It was tan. I think it was a three speed. I think Dad has sold it, but it might be the one he kept. Since I was really old enough to pay attention, we have had a couple Jeeps (real AMC trucks, which I love and miss), a Javlin (the racecar - If I remember right, someone before Dad adjusted it a little to make it faster), a Concord, that was an '83 and I was sad when we sold it. Before I payed attention to what kind of vehicles we had around the place I know for sure I have heard a Rambler mentioned, and I'm sure there were others. Dad loved AMC vehicles. .....I would like to get an AMC Eagle 4 wheel drive. Not that crysler "eagle" stuff. It's too bad crysler bought AMC out. :((

Yes, I once owned a brown 1971 Gremlin. It had a 232 straight 6 motor and a three speed transmission. It also had a 40 gal. gas tank setting next to the rear bumper. Thank goodness I was never rearended.
