I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. The light on my gages wont turn on when I turn my headlights on. I checked the bulbs and they seem to be working fine so now Im trying to locate a fuse to see if that is the problem but I cant find one. Dont know what the problem can be or where the fuse is located. Can someone help me?

The older eclipses are known for faulty wiring sometimes. It would help to know whether it's just the gauge cluster lights are all the lights in the car (like the HVAC in the center console).Welcome to the wonderful world of the Eclipse. I had a 98 (briefly) and it had so many electrical problems it was ridiculous. My favourite was when the highbeams would come on for no reason at all. Sometimes they would stay on... other times they would flicker on and off, making people think I was flashing them, which was always nice... The dealership was lost, had no idea so I took it to an auto electronic specialist who said it was the entire headlight/blinker switch, which cost me about $175 to replace. No problems for about 2 days and then, voila, right back to the same old stuff. Never did figure it out and had to just disconnect my highbeams. Had multiple other electrical issues, including some that would not let me start the car, some that would not let me IN the car, and some that were just plain annoying.
Is it possible for a Mitsubishi Montero to have 3 catalytic converters?
There should be 2 fuse boxes, one under the hood and the other underneath the drivers side dash. I hope for your sake it is just a blown fuse. If not, try taking it to get it looked at and hopefully they will have better luck diagnosing your problems than they did mine. If not... get rid of it quick before it all starts falling apart.
