how much would 107000miles Mercedes 1995 E model cost now roughly?
this trans is hydraulically controlled not electronic, i suspect a gummy/varnished valve body [after warming up it drives just fine and you do have reverse when cold?] the valve body should be removed and cleaned by your dealer or transmission shop only upon reassembly[with new filter] disconnect the transmission-cooler lines [both ] and flush cooler with solvent for this and then fill trans and start engine [KEEP A PAN AT COOLER PRESSURE LINE TO CATCH NASTY FLUID FROM CONVERTER] keep adding fluid until it runs clear out of cooler line then refill as normal [this has saved many transmissions and customer dollars] but the valve body should be cleaned first, as this is where the varnish accumulates[ cost is usualy 150 to 250 u.s. east coast dollars and is way cheaper than even a used transmission]What car is overal nicer? 06 or o7 Nissan Altima or 07 Toyota Camry.?

1. check trans fluid level2. check all vacuum lines for leaks. check that all electrical connectors are clean and plugged in.
3. is the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) on? has it been on recently? If you go to Autozone they can check your OBDII system for trouble codes.
4.How many miles on vehicle and was it serviced regularly. it maybe time for new one.
what should the spark plug gaps be set at?
Low in fluid, or the internal seals in it are worn outAssuming it is an automatic, your transmission fluid and filter probally need to be replaced. A.T.F. over time starts breaking down, and gets thicker , this added to the restriction of a dirty filter ,and cold weather can cause the type of problem you are having, which is usually accompanied by a "whining" noise , and will over time, severly damage your transmission. Service your transmission, an ounce of prevention, will save you a ton of money.
how do i install a cd player in a 1999 chevy malibu?
Check the fluid level. Top it up if necessary. If that doesn't fix it, you probably have a sticking valve body. At the very least you'll need to get if flushed but you very likely will need to have the valve body rebuilt.More Questions & Answers ...
