How to change a rear turn signal on 1997 Mustang GT?

How do I change the rear turn signal on a 1997 Ford Mustang? I don't see any way to access the bulbs.

inside the trunk you peel back the carpeting and-viola!-the twist lock bulb sockets that hold the bulbs shall be revealed. These are like a childproof cap on an aspirin bottle, they twist and lock into place. Gently twist to get out the sockets and replace the bulbs.

lift trunk lid take off the4 retaining nuts on the plastic panel over the latch plate then the 2 nuts on the carpeted filler panel pull off both parts there you'll find the sockets turn on your lights to see which bulb is out to ensure you dont replace the wrong one twist out the socket then twist out the bulb. replace it turn on lights to ensure the light works. then reinstall in opposite order. you can use needle nose pliers to take off the mldg retainers or go to autozone or oreilly they rent these tools out
