check your easy stuff 1st inertia switch 2nd fuses relays etc then check for fuel? will it crank yes-? no-? if it cranks but does not start you need fuel or spark and compression.did you check the cam sensor assembly? also did you sync the cam sensor if you did not sync the cam sensor it will not start.period.alot of times the cam synchro assembly is overlooked more often then not it is damaged too. verify it is not also verify the sensor is in correctly and synched correctly also it should have codes stored in memory if you could scan it for codes that would help gl2u man.How do you change a front hub on a 2000 GMC Sierra Z-71?

I am guessing that it cranks over ok?You need to check to see if you have fuel pressure. You need to see if you have spark. I would also run a compression test on the engine to see if perhaps it broke a timing chain or something. Have you scanned the computer for codes?
