Can i make love in a aston martin?

I would try giving it a full tune-up. Even if thats not the problem, it couldnt hurt to give it a tune-up. Change the plugs, wires, fuel filter. pcv valve. air filter. etc

"How can I get an owner's manual on a 1987 Honda Sedan?"?

You didn't say which engine your Alero has, but I would start first by checking the fuel pressure with a gauge to see if it is low. Low fuel pressure will allow the fuel to boil from the heat.

Volvo fix??

The fuel pressure needs to be checked when this is happening.take it to someone who will take the time to diagnois it .

Another issue could be the coolant temperature sensor. It might be sending the wrong signal to the engine computer. This takes some doing to test it, but the converter shouldn't be failing or interfere with starting the engine.
