They only true way to know is to have vehicle, or motor put on Dyno. Desk top dyno says 295 HP @ 4500 rpm is the peak .Thats with the low compression dish pistons . Flat tops will bring it up to 320 Hp . This motor puts out close to 400 ft pounds of torque . Thats what gets a big car/truck in motion .

You didnt mention the heads.. if you have the stock heads and stock compression of lets say 9:1 then I would say 250HP. with big valve heads and 11:1 or 12:1 then the HP goes alot higher.More Questions & Answers ...
