For a 93 mitsubishi eclipse would you have to get a custom enclosure for 2 12" subs or could it be any kind
Hi,,Just turn the radio on when the motor reaches its upper limit pull up on the stem hard,It should pull out. They can be a real pain if they break at the bottom, The best way iv found to do it is to get a pick and push the aerial stem into the middle and get either a long nose pliers or vise grips and pull real hard,Sometimes this doesn't work as the metal is so weak,Use some WD40 and try free it up.But beware don't misshape the outer part as you wont be able to get the nut back on.on more than one occasion iv had to remove the motor dismantle and push the old one out from the other side. Not too tricky a job.i would need to know what type of stem your car takes as the are 2 type's, One with little teeth on the white part of the stem and one with a black plastic sleeve, If ya need more help please update with more info! Year of manufacture/ Type of stem??
Best of luck!
