To do the regular 10% ethanol you need to get a fresh fuel filter and then change it again after about 3 tanks of 10%ethanol gas and then you can run it all the time or switch back and forth to plain gas and 10% and get back on the regular fuel filter change interval.

I assume your speaking of E85 fuel? The answer would be no.. it will not be set up for that type of fuel. Beside the fact that E85 takes more energy to produce than it gives you while using it. (more than gas) ethenol can be used to start it by spraying it in the carb, but thats about it.No, Chevy didn't start producing E85 engines until 2002. The 2.2L 4 cyl in S-10's and the 5.3L V8 in Tahoes, Silverados and Suburbans had engine options for E85 capabilities.
