They are great for light off-road like the beach. How long does it take a Ford ZX2 to go from 0-60 in both 5-speed transmission and the automatic?
No, the reason being, it does not have a transfer case or full time 4 wheel drive, O.K. for gravel roads, not for the boonies!what kind of car is a 69 chevelle 300 deluxe?
are you kidding? a Rav4 is not an offroad vehicle, not even light duty. You may want to look into a Mitsubishi Outlander. Its a much better, better looking competitor.they may do allright on the beach but a jeep would be much better.jeeps have more clearance and more torque.
Minimal off-roading is what I'd take a RAV4 to. The beach should be fine just don't go in the deep sand.
Someone that has or drove the Toyota Prius..?
The RAV4 will do far better on the beach than a Honda CR-V.Where do I begin with my 88' CRX to make it look like a Street racing Car?
It will handle firm beach sand just fine. Especially the model with the limited slip differential.
Just keep your speed up and don't try anything silly as far as climbing hills or sand dunes and you will be just fine
2004 toytoa camery 4 cylinder has engine click when cold what could the problem be .?
Yes, they are fine for the beach. An AWD Subaru is fine for the beach. The only circumstances under which off-roading becomes a problem for small car-based SUVs such as the RAV4 is when surfaces become too uneven for its ground clearance, or when conditions are too rough for its suspension (meaning don't drive it too fast over big bumps. pretty simple.) basically, the RAV4's suspension is built like a car's, so it is not as durable over roacks and stuff as, say, a 4Runner's which is basically a truck suspension (has a true rear axle, etc.) does that help?is a 1996 Ford Taurus a decent first car?
rav 4s are ecconomy SUVs. i dont know if the 2wd if fwd or rwd but i would think of it more as extra traction in rain/snow. i guess if you found a good deal on one and could put some wider tires on it, it would be ok on the beach.More Questions & Answers ...
