Question:
1995 millenia transmition slips a little, from start only when engine cold?? any idea what may be or just a motor or transmition mount thanks
Answers:
What's up with the seats in a '95-'97 model Honda Passport?
Its not a mount problem.More so directed towards the fluid and filter.
I would have the transmission fluid changed and the filter as well.
Depending on how long this problem has been going on without being checked will determine if the whole tranny will need to be replaced.
Yea, its not a mount. Check the fluid, if it is off color, brownish (it should be a dark red / maroon color) or smells like burnt toast / popcorn it is most likely to late, your transmission has sustained damage. You need to quit driving this car immediately and get it to a transmission specialist.
Can i change my manual locks on my truck to automatic locks?
Sounds like a dirty transmission filter. Get your transmission serviced (filter and fluid changed). The gunk in the filter slows the passing of the oil when cold. As the transmission oil warms it can pass through the filter faster and the slipping goes away.
That is my best guess without test driving or running pressure tests on the transmission. And my #1 suggestion to most automatic transmission customer complaints.
why is the engine type sr20det so powerfull?
I bet it has a lot of miles too. Looks like no one ever did a drain and fill on it, and now it slips when cold. Don't even bother with any service at this point; you'll just cause an untimely death of your transmission. Seriously. Just drive it until the trans gives out and replace it later. No trans shop will tell you this either.More Questions & Answers ...
