Question:
my blazer starts out good, then when going at a certain speed for a lil bit, it slips out, and its almost like it put it self into neutral.. then either you have to pull over, then go again, or just keep slowin down til it goes.
Answers:
no but for 5 bucks try it...got enough fluid in it.iv replaced several S10/blazer trannys...on lasted 97000. one 120000.and one 75000. u may just need to rebuild.i did 1 last summer 1300 dollars/rebuilt torque con.
Should I turn a '91 Integra LS into a project car? Thoughts?
Your clutch band on the tranny is starting to go. Have you inspected your transmission fluid lately? A burnt smell would indicate the burning of the clutch. You can try using the lucas but it would be be a waste of money. You may want to start saving some $$ to repair or replace the transmission.Anyone have any information or experience with Nissan Muranos?
I agree you should check your fluid... It sounds like its low. If your fluid is full...Lucas MAY temporarily help (not fix) the issue, but if it's going, it's going. You will need to have it fixed weather on your terms or when it stops driving on the road somewhere.Sounds llike it has lost 3rd gear, time for a rebuild
