Land Rover between those two.Escalade is a glorified Tahoe. Land Rover has equal or better luxury, genuine heritage, performance and it would rape the Escalade off road. On top of all that it doesn't have (anwhere near as much) hip hop wanabe gangsta image.

In terms of on & off-road performance, the Land Rover is the better vehicle hands down with a superior suspension system and more sophisticated drivetrain.
If you are looking for a good, large, capable SUV, why not consider other marques? Toyota, Nissan, Honda all make very high quality products. The new Jeep Commander is also reputed to be very good overall.

The land rover would be a better choice given the fact that there is factory assistance for your car here in the country. With the Cadillac, this will not be the case. Unless you need a very big SUV, the Cadillac Escalade is better left forgotten. Land Rover Sport will make a very good five seater. if you need a proper seven seater, go for the Discovery.
