V8 supercars?

Question:
I have often wondered why the V8's shoot flames out the exhaust when downchanging into corners, can someone enlighten me please.

Answers:

Does anyone drive a 06 Mian and like it or is a ford escape best?

The flames are caused by unburnt fuel. The exhaust is sooo hot it ignites any excess fuel.

Please answer if you know something about Chrysler/Jeep as a company (work for a dealer, etc.)?

Its for show not performance! The vehicle has to be set up to do that for it to happen. There are kits you can install that will make most any car shoot flames out the exhaust.
