1998 honda civic vti only start to move slowly at the rpm of 2000?

after the last servicing, my car needs 2000 rpm to start moving slowly in the morning even 5 mins of idling warm up was given, but once it start moving, 2 to 3 mins on the road, everything is back to normal, could someone here advice me pls, thks v. much

did u ck the fluid? if its full u need new torque converter.... and the tranny repair will say " as long as its apart you should rebuild the whole thing..." and sadly he will be right...

If it is an automatic (most common) you are low on fluid, and by now you will need a new transmission (or rebuilt). If its a stick, you just need a clutch job - hope for this

I Just answered a similar question, But for the record, its not your transmission be low on fluid. It sounds like a classic gas filter. Your car will do this if you dont have it replaced by your mechanic. Its a real easy fix $60-$120.
