Why does my 1995 Mazda Millenia not accelerate anymore?

Question:
A few weeks ago in my Millenia I was driving it and then all of a sudden i pressed the gas and it acted as if it didn't wanna move. You press the gas and it has no power at all. The fuel filter has been replaced, the mass air flow sensor, and the spark plugs anyone know what the problem could be? Any one care to chat about the subject my yahoo messenger id is richey5703.

I own a shop, and I can tell you a few things to look for. Fuel pressure falling off due to weak pump, bad pressure regulator, throttle position sensor going bad, or a timing belt that has all but failed. If it has a lot of miles on it, then suspect the timing belt is getting ready to drop on you. A plugged up catalytic converter will keep it from going as it should. A vacuum leak at the fuel pressure regulator can do this too. Check for a vacuum leak like this; look at all hoses where they plug one to make sure they aren't split and leaking. Look for hoses that are off, broken, collapsing, full of holes from chemicals such as fuel getting on them. Pull the hose off the fuel pressure regulator, and if fuel runs out, then replace the regulator. Check every hose on the engine, and replace any that are too easy to unplug as in they are sucking air around where they plug on. Clogged injectors will cause this, so run some injector cleaner in the tank to see if that helps. When a timing belt is about to break, it will get to where the engine progressivly makes less power. A vacuum test would tell you if the exhaust is plugged up. Have the codes pulled from the computer to see if anything is there. I don't care who you chat with, or how long you chat with them, you will still have to have someone find the problem, and the only way to find the problem is to roll up your sleeves, and dig in.
