Its a beautiful car in a really bland color, its so sad, it doesn't do it any justice. I was thinking of going cute by painting it a pastel yellow... oh its a 2nd generation by the way (the new one's would NOT look good in a pastel) How much would I expect to pay for a decent paint job or color change? And do you all think it could look cute in pastel yellow?

i own a shop ,and we do some paint work once in a while,i think it would look pretty good in yellow it would be different that's for sure,but an average paint job would cost you around 800 bucks to start off with,and changing the color on one cost a lot more because they have to paint in more confined areas so id say to paint it and change the color on it,this would probably cost you anywhere from 1200 to 1500 bucks real easy,paint and materials have went up a lot in the past two years,and it would probably take around 400 bucks worth of supplies to paint this car,good luck i hope this helps.How do you pronounce "Vios" as in Toyota Vios?
Less then painting my Mitsubishi Montero Sport.lol It really depends on where you take it and what color you get. Go to Maaco for their $299.00 paint job...but don't expect to last for forever!

pastel yellow on a 2g eclipse? I don't think I have seen that before. Well if you want the color change done right it will cost on average between 1500 to 2500 depending on where you live and where you go (don't go to maaco).And as far as it looking cute.. I don't know. I have seen a 2g eclipse in corvette yellow and in my opinion it did not look good. At least people will know it's not a guy driving it and it's not your boyfriend's car.
