BMW or Mercedes?

I prefer BMW. They're both German, so that's the only reason why I like Mercedes as well. German engineering in the best in the world, and the safest. I don't like Mercedes because they all look the same.

I like BMWs better. BMW are much more fun to drive. Mercedes are very nice cars, but they are not as responsive to drivers. The new Mercedes styling is terrible, although BMW is not much better. BMWs are also a lot more reliable.

Personally, I'm biased towards Benz, however, it depends on what type of car you need - coupe, roadster, sedan, wagon?
Generally speaking, Benz is built for comfort rather than speed and BMW is little more flashy but there are exceptions (especially if you can afford AMG). Both have decent build quality but the Benz has great reliability, safety, and resale value. BMWs tend to more of a driver's car - do you like to make handbrake turns on windy roads or are you planning to drive mainly on highways? Have a look on www.topgear.com for some useful reviews.

I would choose the BMW because I have driven both cars and I like the ride of the BMW more than the Mercedez. But, I like Audi more. the Audi has a much nicer ride and looks just as sporty as the BMW. And Audi is also a German car.
