first disconnect negative battery cable 13 mm wrench then disconnect starter solenoid wire then unbolt the starter the starter is bolted the engine block if you have trouble go to www.autozone.com there you can get detailed info on pulling you starter when you go back in make sure the starter is straight also dont overtighten the solenoid nut gl2u man.
