Question:
I have a 99 Mitsu Galant and am shopping around for a customized chrome wheel and tire package. I want to get 20-inch rims. Would a 20-inch be recommended for my type of car? If not, what would be the best size?

I agree with Keana, I wouldn't go bigger than 17.You will probably have issues with tires rubbing suspension or fenders with 20s. Plus it's easy to bend a rim with 20s since the tire is usually very low profile.
Where is the breather element located on a 1993 Ford Thunderbird, 5.0L?
There is a problem with upsizing the rims that very little people know about...the added wear and tear on your car!Bigger wheels=extra weight...this means your wheel bearings will go out quicker, and your transmission will burn out sooner, ruining a perfectly good car.
If you still aren't convinced, the biggest I would go is 17's. anything more, you run the risk of digging into your body, and doing some serious damage! Not to mention the mods you would have to do just to get them to fit!
Stick with the stock size. It may not be that "cool", but at least you'll be riding with a good powertrain!
are Volvo's good cars? Are they a maintenance nightmare?
you can get 20" rims.. you might need to bend ur fenders and leave it at the stock suspension.. 15" chrome wheels are useless.. search on this site for more info.. several members have 20" wheels on it..who else is with me on this one?
