Need to know where the speed sensor is located at on a 99 ford taurus. Is it on top or bottom of the engine?

What do you think the cost should be for?

Which speed sensor? If your are referring to the VEHICLE speed sensor, it is located on the transaxle case, where the right side axle shaft connects to. Depending on which engine (3.0L 12-valve OHV V6, or 3.0L 24-valve DOHC V6), this sensor my be difficult to access, whithout the use of a hoist. If it is the wheel speed sensors, the front ones are mounted on the steering knuckles, and the exciter rings on the axle shafts. The rear ones are mounted on the spindle and backing plate assemblies. Hope this helps.

When will the current body style change on the 2007 4runner?

if you are talking about a wheel speed sensor it should be on the front left brake caliper.
