I wouldnt pay any attention to tht, they are awesome gas savers. especially if you have a 5 speed one.That is pretty old, but I'm sure it's still in fairly decent condition. They all have the same engine size and things along that line, but the only different thing is the standard features. The LX is usually the best value for the dollar with A/C, power windows, etc

I have owned Honda cars since 1984. Follow the maintence book, change the oil (always use the same brand, like Valvoline) as long as you own the car. It will hold its value until you get tired of it or your lifestyle changes and you move to a different model.
