The focus would be cheaper, that is for sure, on gas and everything. The liberty on the other hand, is really nice, and may have 4WD. The cheaper per month payments are going to be on the focus, because its a cheaper car. The insurance is going to be cheaper also, because the liberty is an SUV, and 4WD.
