where is the rattling coming from? in the engine...the suspension...? i need more information to completely tell you whats wrong. i would check the tires to make sure they are all balanced. if it sounds like its coming from your suspension than you might have worn out your shocks and struts. if the problem seems to be engine related, you may have a blown spark plug, valve, or blown head gasket. you should be able to check the tires yourself (with minimal mechanical ablities) but if it is an engine take it to a professional garage.

do you mean the engine or the car. if it the engine the timing is advancing to much. dose it do it when you shift gears at the same rpm. it could be your rods or timing. if it rattles at a certin rmp with out load its the rod bearings. change them fast. as in yesterday. once they rattle it only takes two or three rattles to spin them. if you have not done so allready
