the 4x4 does not ingage in either 4hi or 4low. When I shift it there is no sound at all coming from the "hubs". What do I need to look at to get this fixed.

the most common problem in the Chevy t-case is the actuator that engages your front end. the way it works is it is heat activated, and over time it will leak just a lil water in it and one day (when you need it most) it will burn out. there are other alternatives than to just replace this part. aftermarket companies have non heat activated replacement available. replacement is easy although the replacement should come with directions.Take it back then because that really stinks.
