Question:
I'm looking for parts for my 1997 toyota supra TT. I want to make it into an EXTREMELY fast street car, but with the change of a few parts also one of the fastest cars on a drag strip as well. I don't care about cost. Could someone put together a parts list from stock to moddified, and tell me what kind of power to expect. I want to break 1000 horsepower, without use of nos

Does anyone have information on a 1951 Chevy school bus possibly 16 passenger?
I am really sorry but the Supra won't break a 1000hp with the change of a "few" parts. You will end up spending at least $15-$30K to break that kind of power. I have a 94' and am only making a safe 600. Here is a list of my Supra's parts. What is the miles per gallon rating on a 2006 Ford Taurus With 3.0 Litre V6 motor?

How long can I expect a 2003 Mitsubishi engine to last?
If you change out the turbo to maybe a GT45 or T6 size and the injectors to 1000cc or larger and a new tune you might come damn close to a grand to the wheels.

If you want 1000 HP ship it to a reputable shop to do the work. Titan motorsports in Florida is regarded as one of the best in the world. Despite how everyone panits a rosy picture of Supras being cake to modify for 1000 hp its really NOT that easy, and if you want it to last it needs to be built from the ground up to do the job and tuned by someone in the know. Most non NOS'd supras top out in the 800 rwhp range without SERIOUS modifications ussually including stroker motors. How do I locate a 55 Chevy Bel Air 2 dr?
I really hate to tell you this but the only way to achieve that kind of performance would be to fasten what's let of the Supra body onto a pro-stock chassis with a blown hemi. But then, you did say cost is no object.Maybe something in the neighborhood of $100K will do it Good luckSend it to Titan!
Is there any way to get better gas mileage on a Dodge durango?
suprastore.com should have everthing you are looking for. but you will need a prefessional shop to achieve this goal. your talking about a full engine swap...and a 3. 4 liter stroker engine pushing close to 40 psi of boost=serious pressure. you'll have to upgrade almost every single engine component to handle this kind of hp and pressure. also you will want to upgrade all of your driveshaft and suspension including your transmission. it says this kit is capable of producing 1500 hp. with these kind of upgrades expect to pay around $50,000 in parts alone. good luck. and if you decide to build this monster, make sure you post some pictures on one of the supra forums. What is the difference between the 1992 Ford "N" 302cid and the "E" 302cid motors?
lol you'll never break 1000hp with only changing a few parts. The supra has a stout engine but not to that degree. If you're looking for something fast on the street and the track you've got some work ahead of you, or a very expensive endeavour.I have a 2001 Dakota and when I back up in the morning it feels like the breaks grab.?
You're looking at things like bored out low end, high comp pistons with forged internals, ported top end, much bigger single turbo like a HKS T88 or bigger, reworked fuel delivery system, independantly tuned ecu with piggyback comps, cams, valves, springs, cooling, gaskets, rebuilt reinforced transmission, and drive line parts and the list goes on, but pretty much the entire engine will be torn down and everything replaced except for the block.
What is PZEV in relation to the VW Beetle?
I suppose you could cut most of this stuff out if you really don't care about reliability and do what some morons do when they want more power, simply bolt a big turbo and crank up the boost till the engine detonates. But if you really want it done properly I suggest you consult a shop...and have your wallet ready.
