speaking as a volvo technian make sure its not a 6 cylinder turbo T6 matter of fact if it says T6 on the back turn around and run i cant even begin to tell you all the problems we have with the engine and especialy the TRANSMISSIONS!!ahhhhhh i still have nightmares about that engine and GM transmmision set up they put in some of the xc90s and s80s,now if it is a 5cyl turbo or a v8 are even the new 3.2 liter v6 non turbo thats oooook its a great vehicle its just when volvo got a wild hair and decided to put a twincharged v6 engine with a general motors transmission into a very nice suv is about when they messed up big!hope you get something nice good luck!!Great car, but dump it after 3 years. Once you're through the warranty period, expect to be paying the dealer $5K to $10K a year for maintenance problems after 60,000 miles. Every minor fix will require 'software' - that's another $100 or so. Many problems can't be fixed by independants and need dealer attention. I love the cars - Had 3 of them, but once they start failing , they become very, very expensive to keep.
