Do i need an alignment or struts, my 2001 suzuki esteem is shaking so bad cant keep in lane, which would help?

Question:
I got new tires last year, brakes still sorta good, the car shakes bad when driven over 65, worse over 75, not sure if the struts would remedy that, or would the alignment be better since i can barely keep the car in one lane

I suggest u have the tires rotated and then have the alignment done. Also u have mentioned shakes at 75, this usually happens when the tires are wearing out in an uneven fashion. Have the tires checked first, then go for the rotation and the alignment.

When you said your car is shaking, I presume you mean your steering wheel is shaking badly when driving above 65? Well, you will need a wheel balancing rather than wheel alignment. However, if you have not done any wheel alignment for quite a while (since your car is already 6 years old), it is good to follow up with a wheel alignment as well.
