A stock 318 usually takes 5 quarts with a filter swap. Being a truck chassis you may put 5 in and recheck it. For some reason i want to say that your Winnie may take a 6th quart, but five MINIMUM.

You can run an extra quart in a stock oil pan for a 318. I have done it for years in one of my cars. ( No it's not BS, I read it in a factory publication a long time ago, tried it and never hada problem) but to keep things simple 5 quarts is the "norm".
If you have an oil cooler, it may take more. Just check the dipstick AFTER filling it with 5qts first, and running it for about 30 seconds to be sure.
