A '65 Ford Mustang is a collectors item. If it has a factory installed 289 Triple Deuce (I'm not sure if they came with them though), then that would probably add to it's value.no...not stock...

If your talking about 3 deuces for carburation that was not factory in 1965. 1964 1/2 and 65 came with 260 and 289's. They did have a hi performance 289 but it wasn't TD. There was a 2+2 Fastback in 65. Came factory with dual exhausts and hi performance 289 with 4 barrel. You can look up the VIN # to see if that was even the 289 that came in that car. You can find that out through FORD. A triple deuce is considered 3-2 barrels like on a 389 Pontiac or a Chrysler 6 pack. In 1965 the 289 Hi Performance had a 4 barrel and had a 271 horsepower at 6,000 rpms. And 312 of torque at 3400 rpms. Check out Mustangandfords.com You just might have a rare one. If it original there will be a number stamped somewhere on the manifold (date code)....Should be something like C 4 or 5*****.Also..is there any tags on the carb....the 2 center #C4AF-U or C4AF-U.
The outter carbs #C4GF-J or C4AF-V.
They were a Ford dealer option..if it is an original Ford setup...yes it is rare.
They also made a dual quad intake for the small block.
