I'm in the market for a new ride, and 2006/2007 had some really awesome models come out, but like you said, the first model year is usually the demo ride--too many bugs!Anyhow, I was just looking at a Nitro yesterday and Mr. Dukes said depending on sales, the earliest it would be out would be September and the latest would be November (witness the new 4 door jeep, that didnt come out til november-?). The auto company's usually start the pilots for the next model year soon after the launch the current model year. Six months is a good waiting period for the engineers to work out the bugs in the system, Mainly the electrical systems are where the problems are to be found after the launch. So will a 08 be any better or worse than a late model 07 not sure.
