I've tried different dual plane manifolds, Started out with the Edelbrook performer, then the RPM performer and the Air-gap RPM. Didn't notice any difference from the performer to the RPM, or difference in the RPM to the Air-Gap RPM. Recently switch back to the performer for hood clearance and that made a big difference. Torgue felt stronger on the lower RPM's
If you car is more of a driver then you cannot beat a well tuned Quadrajet. A well tuned Quadrajet will give you good fuel economy as well as performance. A lot people will dis the Quadrajet, but they mostly don't understand the carb. Its a bit more complicated than a Holley or Edeblbrook/Carter.

i own a shop and go with the edelbrock performer series intake and carburetor on it,and use a spread bore intake on it either one will work good on it but i like the spread bore,i currently am running a square bore though and it does really good , either one on this one will work really good ,just don't smoother it to death with too much gas,it only needs a good 600 cfm to run really good,anything over that and your wasting fuel in it,good luck i hope this helps.1998 honda accord, timing belt.. i just hit 60,000 miles.. should i have the timing belt replaced?
Ive ran several setups on drag cars and I'll tell you the eidelbrock RPM performer hi rise intake and a double pumper edielbrock carb is the way to go. I ran a 1000cfm speed demon and it was pretty nice too, I had to be really soft on the pedal untill it hit high RPMs then it would pretty much pour the entire gastank in the motor in one shot.What are the benefits/drawbacks of wheel spacers?
The 355’s induction system is built around Edelbrock’s Super Victor intake manifold—arguably the most flexible manifold in racing today. The Super Victor is designed to boost performance in the mid and upper-rpm range—right where our 355 needs it the most. Our particular Super Victor manifold (EDL-2925) is designed specifically to work with 23 degree race heads and accepts Holley squarebore carburetors. Speaking of Holley squarebore-style carbs, we topped off our 355 with a Holley Pro Series 750 carburetor. The carb features high flow throttle bodies, dual inlet fuel bowls with brass floats, four corner idling, and an extra air bleed in its metering blocks for better fuel atomization. All told, the carb feeds the engine with 750 cfm of air and fuel.
