Maybe, maybe not.But it's a really bad idea.
Is a Bmw 525i really bigger than a 325i?
The car you have is designed to have the engine it has. The brakes, the suspension, the chassis, the transmission, is all set up with the current engine in mind. Once you replace the engine, you really need to replace the other stuff too. Otherwise you have a car that goes too fast for the rest of the components.
2002 ford mustang hesitates when driving. Manual transmission, 80,000 miles.?
Then we need to talk about insurance. Putting some bigger engine with more horsepower in your car invalidates the insurance. It is a condition of your insurance that you declare any major modifications like this. If you don't and have an accident, they can simply refuse to pay out. Which means massive legal and financial trouble if you are unlucky enough to injure someone.
How can I make my Grand Prix faster?
Then we need to talk about costs. It's going to cost you a few thousand to do something like this, and even more to do it right. Once you have squandered all that money you have a faster car. You are now either driving it without valid insurance, or you informed your insurance company and they are charging you out the wazoo for your insurance now.
What kind of of air filter and case do I need for a 2003 Ford Focus?
Finally, we need to talk about hidden costs. When you come to sell your car, no dealer is going to want it. Anyone that looks at your car will see that someone has messed with it, fitted the wrong engine in it, and it will rightly scare the hell out of them.
I want to destroy my convict uncles Ford Ranger, what should i do to it?
They are going to make the assumption that you are a boy racer, and you have thrashed your car to death. They are also going to worry that you did not do all the upgrades properly. They are going to worry about insurance, and ongoing maintenance issues. In short, they are not going to want to buy your car. This will in turn affect the value of it. And not in a good way.
Has anyone had head gasket problems with an 02 subaru outback legacy?
So you waste a bunch of money doing it. You lose a bunch of money in residuals. You have to pay a bunch more for insurance. If you do the slightest thing wrong, in 'upgrading' your vehicle you could end up with an unreliable car.
It's a bunch of money and a bunch of hassle. You'd be better off trading your car for a newer 3.2 TL.
1996 toyota corolla...suddenly lost 2nd and 3rd gears. is it a fuse or sensor?
nopeas long as it is the same chassis it will fit. i been working with honda's for along time. like i said as long as it is the same chassis and that body style has that motor or not. kinda like the integra's. b18c1 to a b18c works fine. but what you should do is a k24 swap. tsx or accord R motor. that will be awesome. hahaa just imagine a sedan keeping up with sti's and evo's .. all i gotta say is "werd"
How hard is it to put a transmission in a 86 honda prelude?
If it's the same year Acura TL, yes. Any of the years with that body style will fit I beleive. But if you're looking for more power, get a V8Help someone I am over my head!!!?
Almost anything can be done. The question is if it's feasible. And re the swap you mentioned, I doubt it. I have followed various Honda/Acura user blogs to know that swaps from like motor-to-like are being done. For example, some people have put J35 (3.5L V6) top ends on their J30 (3.0 L V6) Accord engine blocks. However, going from a 4 cylinder engine to a 6 would be a different matter...lots of vexing technical issues you'll likely face along the way. I'd do lots of consulting with folks who rebuild Hondas for race applications before attempting such a project.Listen to snooky if you want a 3.2 buy a TL, but if you simply want to go faster learn how to drive better.
What is the top speed of the 1970 Dodge Daytona?
it probably depends on the year of the engine.I can't find the fuel pump on my 1985 mercedes benz 500sec?
It should. In the early TLs, there was the base 2.5 and then a 3.2 option. Since the cars are identically sized, the engine bay had to be big enough to fit a 3.2L on every TL (even the base 2.5 ones). Do you mean a C32 or a J32 though? Both would fit, but I'm pretty sure that the engine in the older TLs is mounted longitudinally rather than transverse (like in the newer ones).More Questions & Answers ...
