The SRT-6 version I hear is like all other SRT's difficult to modify, though it should be, its a SRT, theres no much (if anything left to tweeked to if). Though if you want to street race it, you can still fiddle with the suspension, tires and all those things.

I'm 19, and personally I'd enjoy the Crossfire, it's executive but sporty at the same time, and not everyone has one like they do a Mustang. Don't get me wrong, Mustangs are good cars, but if you want to stand out, and have people give your car a second look, go for it.

The only negatives I have heard of the car are: It has two different size tires, front and back and "no spare" / It has "very poor traction" on wet streets and goes nowhere in the snow. Other than that it is a sporty little car.It is basically a Mercedes-Benz SLK previous model with an American style body. When new or near new, they are fairly reliable and quite safe if the SLK is any guide. The following is based on the SLK -
Transmissions, both manual and auto can break down early and are expensive to fix. Light bulbs fail prematurely, fuel gauge is only a rough guide and check engine light goes on and off for no reason. Alarms are unreliable. They will bankrupt you if you buy a cheap older one. Insurance will be high.
Engine upgrades? Why? These are sports cars, bult to go around corners, not drag off modified Pontiacs at traffic lights.
