Question:
Back in 2002 I bought a 1972 Datsun 240Z for 500 with the intent of restoring it, it was in rough shape. The unique feature of this car was the body, it had integral fender flares and spoiler that were fiberglassed onto the body. I never got around to restoring it, but what the heck was it? I have never seen another 240Z like it since. Was it some special edition or a hacked out project car?

door panel off of a 2001 chevy s10 extreme?
It certainly wasn't a Factory equipped car. I would say you bought somebody else's (home) modified car. Since the modifications were 'glassed onto the body, I'm sure they didn't originate with the manufacturer. It was basically an old school body kit that flared out the fenders. Theres one on ebay right now.
