I am not that up on Euro warranties that much but I can tell you that save a very few, 1 or 2 only, here in the states they are pretty much a rip-off. If you do decide to purchase one make sure you READ EVERY clause and understand what they cover and what they exclude. Also examine the modification clause carefully. Most will deny anything major if you so much as install a custom set of wheels or even an aftermarket sound system. Remember this, they sell you that to make additional money, not to protect you, so be careful. A good thing to do is ask some local shops what their experience has been if any with the warranty company you are looking into. As a shop owner I can tell the bad and the good as I have seen about all of them. Good Luck

personally if given the option i would get a warranty with anything that wasnt a common car. Saab parts are generally quite expensive, although they dont go wrong very often. find out how much it costs and then weigh it up on how many miles you plan to do with it before said warranty would expire. if it costs less than, say, an alternator or a starter motor, plus fitting time then it's probably worth it.
