Why my cadillac eldorado 96 keep running hot?

I have a 96 Cadillac Eldorado, I have changed the water pump and the therma stat and it keeps running hot. I need advice.

Take it to your dealer and have them to run A block test on the cooling system.If you have already replaced the water pump and the t-stat you could have a blown head gasket.Something that the 4.9,4.5 and the northstar have issues with when they get some age and have run hot.this test is simple and only takes about 5 - 10 mins. to run.if it passes the block test then you may be having a issue with your cooling fans.this could be something as simple as a relay or a coolant temp. sensor all the way to the pcm or the fans themselves.hope this helps you.

well you could have a hole in your radiator, or just alot of crap in your radiator probably alot of crap in your radiator rather than a hole. if u had a hole your whole vechile would over heat in a matter of 5 minutes and you would throw a rod. but if u get your radiator flushed at any vechile maintenece facility that might help your overheating problem. or try adding a cooling additive in your coolant fluid. that my best advice.

flush out your heater core and radiator..that should do the trick..as you might have a air lock..in the system..give it a good flush out..then a good coolant..
