My rims have a few scratches that I'd like to touch up. I'm not willing to replace them or pay anyone to do it for me - I pretty much just want to slap on some paint and be done with it.
Does the 1999 VW Cabrio have a interference engine / timing belt ?
Bavarian Auto had wheel paint in one of their catalogs and I thought I might try that.
How many used Volkswagens were sold in the U.K. last year? From approved Volkswagen retailers?
Has anyone tried this or another product? Was it easy to do and worthwhile?
Or is there another product worth checking out?

i dont know waht to tell u but u should get sometning that can with stand alot of heat. that is because the rims can get hot in the summer and the brakes make it even worse so get someting that is heat resistant and permanent and weather proof. Nut i think u should call them and ask them or stop by a car tuner shop and ask them.How much boost on a stock engine?
The wheel paint is ok but all it does is cover up the discoloration in the blemish. If you want to get it out of your hair quickly and cheaply go for it but id also recommend dismounting the tire. A proper repair coud be done. it requires filling the gouges painting and balancing the rim. Around here, I know a guy does it in a truck he drives to your site.More Questions & Answers ...
