Question:
I own a 2001 Toyota Camry with a factory installed keyless entry system. The remote is no longer working and replacing the battery didn't help. I have a new remote but it needs to be prgrammed. I was told this is fairly easy and can be done at home. I googled it and found directions for Honda vehicles only. Please help. Thank you.

TRYING TO BUY SOME SPRINGS AND WHEELS NEED SOME help?
Go slower on each step rather than faster and you
will have
better luck.
Its not real easy
you have to get the car into a program mode
its like insert the key 2 times , open and close the door 2 times the the key thing again and then the door , its a night mare and the timing has to be just right , you can try but even with detailed instruction i have seen techs that cant do it . you have to get the timing just right . good luck but it will be easier to just pay a dealer to do it don't let them charge you over 1/2 hour labor that's all we charge.about 40 dollars.
