i would say the civic. those are seen as more customizable cars and the accord cant push much power out of it, especially if its a 4door. I'd say get a civic, swap for some rims, and throw a new motor in there and youll have a nice car on your hands. no ricer sh**, please. If your customising one I would get the civic. If your 16 I would check out the insurance rates. A 4 door is cheaper in Canada...and if your 16 be prepared to pay. Do a lot of research, and figure out what modifications you plan on doing , including sound system etc. and figure out your costs ahead of time. If your going for show and performance, I would advice you to get a civic, more custom exterior, interior and a lot more variety of performance mods than an accord. You can switch engines on both but civics have more variety. If you are going for looks and show go for a accord. more space, sound system, air bags also has many options in exterior but not as much performance parts variety although you can make them very fast anyway.
