Don't buy one that you don't personally go inspect. Especially if it is an east coast car or was in the past. The number one thing you want to look for is rust. Check the floor pans, cowl, underside of the doors, trunk area, shock towers etc. Look for little bubbles in the paint (especially if it is a "new" paint job. Bubbles in the paint are frequently rust under the paint
