Question:
I bought my Jeep a couple years ago and have had nothing but trouble since. Anything from transmission problems to electrical problems. The dealership gave me the run-a-round until my waranty ran out. Just wondering if anyone else was having major issue with "Jeep".?

Who ever thinks a Jeep is reliable is seriously misinformed. I had endless mechanical, electrical, and suspension problems with my Grand Cherokee Ltd from the very beginning when I bought it new. If I didn't have the extended warranty, I would have been broke trying to keep it running. The last straw was when the heated seats needed replacing twice and the CD player 3 times. I sold it 6 years after I bought it and it didn't even retain 25% of its original sales price.'99 Chevy Cavalier; reinstalling/activating ignition switch?
I'm surprised, Jeeps are pretty good vehicles. One thing to be aware of, Jeep Cherokees tend to have doors fall off and have to be welded back on.why would you lose oil pressure at high rpm?
It seems there are always little things (and some big things) going wrong. My husband drive it now, but at last check these are just some of the problems: THe brakes never seem to last long, we are on our 3 complete replacement. I have heard this is very common. There was a recall, but we had already had the work done. THe elctronic locks no longer work, the tail gate lifters needed replacement, the radiator began leaking and need repair. The steering is very difficult, and the wheel screeks when you turn it. I think that covers everything I can think of....it just these are reoccuring, now we are tired of spending money on repairs...but it is paid off. Will any Chrysler wheel fit a Caliper?
