How much Horsepower do the NEWer Jetta's have??

I am in love with the newer Jettas (5th Gen.. the new body style)
I was wondering how much the
2005 1.8
2006 1.8
2007 1.8
have as far as horsepower.
In 2005 they had the old body style and the new body style, I'm asking about the NEW body style.

Can i fit 37 inch tires with a 8 inch lift on my 1500 gmc z71?


I'm asking becasue I read somewhere that they have 100HP and I know that is wrong, no car comes with that little anymore. So I was just wondering what the Horsepower of thsoe years (once again, 1.8)

The 1.9 (not the 1.8) is the TDI (turbo diesel engine) in the U.S. That engine produces 100 hp. Because it's a diesel, it doesn't have much horsepower but it has greater low-end torque. The 2.5L I5 (150 hp) is the base engine for the Jetta. The 2.0T and GLI produce 200 hp.
