ur gay..........Ford 300 Inline 6... what do you think about this engine?
Not alot, you need a good intake to go with it and you might get 5-20 depending on driving style, vehicle condition etc. But an exhaust alone does very little power wise.can I go with no cat. converters?
On the other hand, flowmasters sound sick, and I would definately go with em.
93 JEEP GC 2" lift and 32x10.5x16 wheels?gears?control arms?
Adding just a Flowmaster alone will add about 10HP max.... I have an 03 Durango with the 360, stock HP is 250 from the factory, yours should be the same. I added a Flowmaster 40 and a K+N cold air intake system. Those 2 alone give me 25HP maybe more. You must open the intake and open the exhaust to get the full effect. The better an engine breathes the more efficient it will be on power, but will use more gas, a little more. The combined sound of the 40 and intake are awesome, sounds like a stock car screaming down the road!86 Accord Turbo Question are.?
To get the full effect of the flowmaster you still have to open up the breathing ability of your motor, with just the exhaust, MAYBE 5-10 more HP and maybe 1-2 more MPG. But combine the exhaust with a K&N Cold Air Intake (or similar, not a drop in filter) some headers and a bigger throttle body (50-52mm depending on your mods) and a superchips programmer (or hypertech) STAY AWAY from the JET chips and the ones that they sell on ebay (the resistor thing thats like .99 cents). With all of those you would see significant gains in MPG and HP.More Questions & Answers ...
