well, yea the 89 honda accord is a pretty good car but it's pretty old so the parts are harder to find. I would say buy a 90-93 honda accord if you're goin to buy an old accord. their are still parts around for those years. The 89 have about 135 HP and it's not all that bad. But yea, the 89 accord would take you over 200,000 miles on the engine if you change the oil and spark plugs and what not. So if you're just going to drive it to school or work for one or two years. Sure, it's a pretty good car without a lot of headaches. Of course it's pretty old so expect some problems with it. But, it wont be all that hard and expensive to fix either. WEll, good luck
