The first model had electrical problems and could cause you problems, later versions better but avoid 1.0l 12 valve engine as it is seriously under powered. Most major problems will have sorted on warranty so f its original/unthrashed and has a service history it should be OK. Not the best small but far from the worst, always popular so values are steady. Yep, not much special about the earlier models, newer models are up to spec though. All are easy to maintain, cheap to run and long lasting.Beware of the earliest models without power steering, these get to be ridiculously heavy for a little car.
