How do I fix my F-250 heater?

Question:
I have an Ford F-250 and the heater doesn't work. Somtimes when I turn it on to see if it will work it blows warm air. Not hot air but just warm and it only does it for a couple of minutes..... I dont think that it is the heater core because it isn't leaking in the floor and there is no film on the windows. Someone told me one time that it might have to do with some flap thing that regulates it or something.... I dont know what that is but....

Has anybody tryed to Put a V8 into a 83', or around, Mazda B2000?

It sounds like the resistor package that regulates the blower motor is probably shot. It could also be that the temperature selector on the dash is no longer working.
Do you get any heat with the selector on "Defrost", or with the temp sent on max? If you do, then it just the selector switch.
Either way, this isn't a 10 minute fix. You'll have to remove at least the faceplate of the temp/heater control's, and possibly some of the dash.
Good Luck.

can any one tell me wot the fastest car in the world is??

It doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the fan. It sounds like it is the coolant cut off valve. Not positive that your truck has one but mine did. It just stops the flow on hot coolant to your heater core. Usually located between the water pump and the location to where the heater core sticks out of the firewall. its vacuum activated. Mine just had the little vacuum diapham got out so it wouldn't open the valve to allow coolant flow. Find out if you have one then check flow thru the heater core.

Is Volkswagen marketing to gays only now?

On some engines it can be different. If you have ever changed the thermostat and used the blue silicone sealer for a gasket it could have smugged into the heater outlet, where the engine coolant enters the hose. Another suggestion I would try to back flush the heater core. Just un-hook both heater hoses at the firewall and use a water hose to spray water in one hose and see what runs out the other. Then spray water into the opposite hose. Its not hard to do. If the heater core is stoped up this can clean-em out.

Has anyone else recently purchased a Volkswagen City Golf? Do you know what's taking them so long to deliver?

Flush your heater core, your in-laws have probably never changed the coolant and its full of mud. Kinda like their leaky calipers.
