What is the difference between the 1999 nissan altima se and gxe models?
I had a 93' 4.0 liter that averaged about 14 mpg with city and highway driving. I now have a 94' with the 5.2L that seems to get about the same. Just highway driving I get about 16-18 mpg. And both are 4X4 with the NP249 transfer case, which means they are more less "all wheel drive" and 3.73 gears. I also run 30"x9.5"x15" tires which a about 2 inches larger than stock. The main thing like any vehicle is how you drive it.Would you consider a 2001 Mercedes C240 a beater?

If it's a V8 I'm thinking 10 to 12 city and tops 14 highway, they are real gas guzzlers.Depends on which engine you have, and how you drive.
