Sounds like your ignition SWITCH (not to be confused with your ignition lock CYLINDER) is worn out, by the symptom you describe. This switch is located under the steering column. Hope this helps.HELLO does anyone know the bleeding order for the brakes on a peugeot expert van 1997?
Don't know, I can't see it from here. Bring it by the shop Monday and I'll have a look. Or if that's too far, try your own mechanic. How expensive can adding performance parts be for a vw Jetta 96-99?
Well, you could have a couple of problems, and they can be hard to diagnose without looking at the truck. But a couple of common concerns with that year f150 is the pad switch, for the passenger side air bag goes bad. It is located under the radio area. The air bag light should flash a code that can be helpful in diagnosing. The door chimes could be caused by a bad key feeler that is located on the ign cylinder and can be removed and replaced simply. The part number is 11a124 I think. The other area that you might look for that can cause all kinds of electrical gremlins is that the windshield seal is leaking water into the GEM module and fuse block under the dash on the left side of the dash. You usually can't see water on the floor, but you can get under the dash and remove 2 connectors that screw onto the back of the fuse block and look for signs of water entry in the connectors or back of the fuse block. The starter engaging while driving, might be the ign switch, or water in the fuse block. So in other words, you could have a big problem, or a couple of little ones.
Hope it helps.
